This old stone house is located in the heart of a village of the Gorges du Tarn in Lozere at the foot of the Circus of Pourgnadoires, at an altitude of 450m.
Entirely renovated in 2004, the little house is Gite de France category 2 epis and can sleep 4 persons. For allergy reasons, guest’s pets are not allowed.
Ideally located for hiking and enjoying near by Tarn river.
Tourist interests:
In the heart of the gorges du Tarn, near the Grands Causes and the Cevennes National Park.
Pougnadoires is located in the world reserve of biosphere decreed by UNESCO at the National park of the Cevennes since 1995.
You will remain in the peripheral zone of the National park, only French park of medium mountains in inhabited zone.
The little house that was in the past part of the village school
is organized on 3 levels.
Level 0: Access by the alley, it has a laundry room and a half bathroom.
Level 1: Stair made of stone leads to the main entrance. At this level, there is the living room (25m2) with a kitchen corner, a dining area and the balcony. Sleeping for two on a bed " gigogne".
Level 2: Access by an interior stair. A bedroom (16 m2), sleeping 2 persons in full bed (140X200), storage. Bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
At 50 m from the house, there is an addition with a private terrace with patio furniture and grill.
