This posting is meant to illustrate a bit about me, the apartment, and the location. We would be sharing a full two-bedroom apartment. The unit is on the top floor of a walk up six floor building. Please note that this apartment is very near Union Square, Manhattan, but actually located in Williamsburg Brooklyn. Just a 5 minute train ride from THE CENTER of Manhattan! See below for details:

In the center of the apartment are the bathroom, living room and kitchen which are sandwiched by the two bedrooms on complete opposite sides. This allows for maximum privacy for my guests during their stay. The amenities are as follows:

SHARED SPACES:

Bath is near the kitchen and right next to your bedroom. It is a generously sized bathroom that we would share. It is simple but kept very clean. Plenty of towels are provided and there is a great shower.
Living Room is equipped with a place to eat and a comfortable couch. Most of my guests like to do their internet surfing here. I’m working on getting a flat screen, so hopefully soon we can watch a DVD from time to time!

KITCHEN:

I’m a big cook and raw foody (but I do eat meat too). So you can imagine that I have a fully equipped kitchen that I encourage everyone to make use of it.

CLEANING:

My housekeeper makes sure that everything is in order. All comforters, sheets, towels, bath mats, etc. have all been cleaned prior to your arrival. She also scrubs and disinfects the bathroom and kitchen.

LOCATION:

The home is located on the corner of Grand in Williamsburg Brooklyn, just 5 minutes away from THE CENTER of Manhattan. Again, many places for sublet may be in Manhattan, but can still be much further from the city center than Williamsburg, taking 30, 40 or even 50 minutes to get to the center. This is the reason Williamsburg is so popular because it's literally just 5 minutes to East Village and so close to all the major train lines. What the heck am I talking about? Check out this map:

Many of my visitors find themselves more intrigued with this new and trendy neighborhood in which I live. No kidding, people from Manhattan come to us now! This is the place to be for young people, artists, tourism, good food, killer views and and travelers. See the maps and links below

Williamsburg is amazing, with views of NYC skyline, the best food and shopping, super safe, super close to Manhattan and just an all around killer energy! ABOUT HOW ALL THIS STARTED:

It all started when I came home to an eviction letter from the landlord stating that they’re going to build…guess what?! More luxury condos! So we all had to be out. Not wanting to sacrifice my quality of life with current market value in NYC, I met Jon (www.staywithjon.com) He has been renting out his Lower East Side Apartment for years and meeting great people. So we worked out a business plan and decided to do the same for Brooklyn! Thanks Jon!
